Shraddha Tomar is a visual artist with a formal education in Lifestyle Accessory Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Gandhinagar, India. She has closely worked with the craft sector, where she explored wool felt and its possibilities within contemporary lifestyle products.
Between 2019 and 2024, she moved to Ghana, West Africa, where the country’s vibrant artistic traditions, bold visual language, and expressive use of color deeply influenced her creative direction. This cultural immersion strengthened her instinct for visual storytelling and continues to inform her artistic approach.
Shraddha’s paintings draw inspiration from storybook and children’s illustration, creating intimate narrative worlds that center on cozy spaces, quiet moments, and small acts of joy. Her work celebrates the idea of home as both a physical place and an emotional landscape—inviting viewers into gentle, whimsical scenes that reflect warmth, imagination, and belonging.
